Family Fun Activities, Sea Fishing in Sligo
We love to cater for families wishing to catch their first fish with their child! We are a popular option for family parties and gettogethers! We would recommend shorter trips for younger kids (depending on their interest and age). We also highly recommend mixing up the trip to keep it fun and the kids occupied! You can mix up your charter with some fishing, a trip to the seal colony, or Coney Island for the birthday cake! We just need to know how long you wish to charter the boat for and we can do the rest & make your day special!

Sightseeing and Seal Watch
We offer two hour sightseeing cruises which visit the beaches, lighthouses, sea caves and sights in Sligo Bay, finishing up with a visit to the local seal colony on the Seal Rocks. There is plenty of local wildlife and birds visible on this trip and we have occasional sightings of porpoises, dolphins, whales and basking shark. This trip can be extended to 3 hours to include some fishing in the productive reef beside the seal rocks. For more information on our sightseeing cruises, see here.
Kids Birthday Parties
A popular option for kids activities is a birthday party on board! We have hosted multiple birthday parties and a favored option includes some light fishing out the bay followed by a visit to the beach on Coney Island for some birthday cake or BBQ! Some groups might bring a picnic! Definitely a hit with the youngsters, we can tailor make this trip if kids would prefer to see the seals, fish or why not both!
Coney Island Visit
Coney island is located close to Rosses Point, just a short boat ride away. There are beaches to the front of the island, and around the back (Carty’s Strand) are nice and quiet, secluded and a great option for some beach fun, a BBQ or a picnic. The local pub on the island can be arranged to be open if needed and the scenic walk to the North side is a must. We have small maps on board if people wish to explore the geocaching points and other points of interest around the island. See more about the magic of Coney Island here.
